Parents furnace went out around Christmas time. Bob came very quick and replaced the faulty inducer. Upon inspection of the furnace he noticed the heat exchanger was in bad shape on this 20+ year old unit. Bob & his team came back and replaced the whole furnace. Job was done very neatly, affordably & professionally. Would highly recommend B&Z heating to anybody in the south suburbs. 5 stars !

Let me start by saying that I have always been very cautious because almost every company tries to rip people off. Well, let me tell you, B&Z provides honest, fair, and quality services. They are a family-owned and operated company. My furnace was overheating due to the wrong air filter. They came, inspected the unit, and scheduled me for a follow-up cleaning. I will be a regular customer and will be getting my yearly cleaning with B&Z from now on!

B & Z is the best. Bob and his crew responded very quickly and helped me make the right decision on a new furnace and AC unit. Unlike many HVAC providers I’ve worked with, Bob carries and can provide any of the major brands, so he does not push one brand and upsell for more than you need. He did a thorough analysis and test to determine the appropriate size systems and gave me options on good, better, best and associated pros and cons. Most importantly Bob is honest and trustworthy. Quick response, comprehensive evaluation and recommendations, competitive and fair pricing and high quality installation. Highly recommend B & Z!

Getting a premium heating and cooling system shouldn't break the bank. As Orland Park’s trusted Carrier Authorized Dealer, we offer flexible, budget-friendly financing on top-tier AC units and furnaces, making complete home comfort more accessible than ever.
Your air conditioner rarely quits all at once. A weak capacitor, a slow refrigerant leak, or a condenser coil packed with cottonwood and grass clippings usually shows up months before the system gives out, and a spring tune-up is how you catch those problems while they're still small. Our NATE-certified techs test, clean, and measure the parts that fail first, and because our pricing is honest and no-upsell, you get a straight read on what needs attention and what's fine to leave alone.
Catching these early is far cheaper than an emergency call in July, and a serviced system runs longer and costs less to operate.
It's been more than a year since anyone serviced the system, and a yearly tune-up keeps small issues from becoming breakdowns.
You can't remember the last filter change, and a clogged filter chokes airflow and makes the system work harder.
Your cooling costs are climbing even though your habits haven't changed, a common sign the system is running inefficiently.
The air from your vents feels weaker or takes longer to cool the house than it used to.
You're hearing new rattles or noticing musty odors when the system runs, both worth checking before summer.
You've spotted moisture around the indoor unit, which can mean a clogged drain line that a tune-up clears.
A real tune-up is a hands-on inspection, not a quick look, and here's what a B&Z technician actually does.
We check refrigerant levels, test the electrical components, and inspect the coils, blower, and drain line to catch wear before it turns into a failure.
We clean the coils, clear the condensate drain (the line that carries away the moisture your AC pulls from the air), and check the filter.
We measure temperatures and pressures, then adjust the system so it cools efficiently and holds the temperature you set.
If we find a problem, you get a plain-language explanation and an upfront price before any repair. No surprise fees, no pressure.
A few things move the price of a tune-up. The biggest is how many systems you're servicing, since each additional condenser and air handler is another full unit to inspect, clean, and test. System type matters too, because a ductless mini-split has several indoor heads to open and clean while a standard central system is one air handler and one outdoor condenser. Where the equipment sits changes the labor as well, so an air handler wedged in a low attic or a condenser on a flat roof takes longer to reach and service than one sitting in an open side yard. Age and condition factor in, because an older unit needs a slower, more careful inspection and a heavily clogged evaporator coil can call for a deep chemical cleaning rather than a quick wipe-down. And whether you book a single visit or a maintenance plan that pairs your spring AC tune-up with a fall furnace check will change the number too.
