Parents furnace went out around Christmas time. Bob came very quick and replaced the faulty inducer. Upon inspection of the furnace he noticed the heat exchanger was in bad shape on this 20+ year old unit. Bob & his team came back and replaced the whole furnace. Job was done very neatly, affordably & professionally. Would highly recommend B&Z heating to anybody in the south suburbs. 5 stars !

Let me start by saying that I have always been very cautious because almost every company tries to rip people off. Well, let me tell you, B&Z provides honest, fair, and quality services. They are a family-owned and operated company. My furnace was overheating due to the wrong air filter. They came, inspected the unit, and scheduled me for a follow-up cleaning. I will be a regular customer and will be getting my yearly cleaning with B&Z from now on!

B & Z is the best. Bob and his crew responded very quickly and helped me make the right decision on a new furnace and AC unit. Unlike many HVAC providers I’ve worked with, Bob carries and can provide any of the major brands, so he does not push one brand and upsell for more than you need. He did a thorough analysis and test to determine the appropriate size systems and gave me options on good, better, best and associated pros and cons. Most importantly Bob is honest and trustworthy. Quick response, comprehensive evaluation and recommendations, competitive and fair pricing and high quality installation. Highly recommend B & Z!

Getting a premium heating and cooling system shouldn't break the bank. As Orland Park’s trusted Carrier Authorized Dealer, we offer flexible, budget-friendly financing on top-tier AC units and furnaces, making complete home comfort more accessible than ever.
When one room in your home never gets comfortable — a converted attic, a sunroom, an addition the ductwork never reached — a mini-split cools it without you tearing open walls or adding ducts. A ductless mini-split pairs a small outdoor unit with one or more indoor heads mounted right in the room, so you set the temperature zone by zone instead of overcooling the whole house to fix one space. Our NATE-certified technicians size and place the system for how your home is actually laid out, and you get honest, upfront pricing with no upsell.
A single-zone mini-split adds cooling to one room through a small wall unit and an outdoor unit, no ductwork needed, so it's ideal when just one space is the problem.
Your central air keeps the house comfortable but never reaches the garage, sunroom, or bonus room above it.
You've built an addition or finished a space, and extending ductwork to reach it isn't practical or affordable.
You're propping a noisy window unit in one room and want quiet, steady cooling that actually keeps up.
You're working in a room that bakes in the afternoon and need it comfortable without cooling the whole house harder.
You've turned a garage, attic, or basement into living space that your existing system was never designed to reach.
You'd rather cool one space on demand than run the whole-house system just to make a single room usable.
Adding cooling to one room is a small, clean job when it's sized and installed right, and here's how B&Z handles it.
We look at the room's size, layout, and sun exposure to size a single indoor unit that will actually keep it comfortable.
We recommend the correct capacity for that one space, not an oversized unit. If a window unit would truly serve you better, we'll say so.
You approve one upfront price before any work starts, with no hidden fees. Financing is available on new systems.
We mount the indoor unit, connect it to the outdoor unit through a small wall port, test the cooling, and clean up before we go.
A handful of things drive what a mini-split project runs. The biggest is how many indoor heads you need, and whether it's a single-zone setup for one room or a multi-zone system feeding several, since each zone adds its own air handler and cooling capacity. Room size plays in too, because the BTU rating of each head has to match the square footage you're actually trying to cool. The run between units matters as well, meaning how far each indoor head sits from the outdoor condenser and how the refrigerant line set has to be routed, which gets more involved on upper floors, across brick, or through finished walls. The efficiency tier you pick also shapes it, since a higher SEER2 rating and an inverter compressor change the equipment, along with any electrical work to add a dedicated circuit for the outdoor unit.
