Parents furnace went out around Christmas time. Bob came very quick and replaced the faulty inducer. Upon inspection of the furnace he noticed the heat exchanger was in bad shape on this 20+ year old unit. Bob & his team came back and replaced the whole furnace. Job was done very neatly, affordably & professionally. Would highly recommend B&Z heating to anybody in the south suburbs. 5 stars !

Let me start by saying that I have always been very cautious because almost every company tries to rip people off. Well, let me tell you, B&Z provides honest, fair, and quality services. They are a family-owned and operated company. My furnace was overheating due to the wrong air filter. They came, inspected the unit, and scheduled me for a follow-up cleaning. I will be a regular customer and will be getting my yearly cleaning with B&Z from now on!

B & Z is the best. Bob and his crew responded very quickly and helped me make the right decision on a new furnace and AC unit. Unlike many HVAC providers I’ve worked with, Bob carries and can provide any of the major brands, so he does not push one brand and upsell for more than you need. He did a thorough analysis and test to determine the appropriate size systems and gave me options on good, better, best and associated pros and cons. Most importantly Bob is honest and trustworthy. Quick response, comprehensive evaluation and recommendations, competitive and fair pricing and high quality installation. Highly recommend B & Z!

Getting a premium heating and cooling system shouldn't break the bank. As Orland Park’s trusted Carrier Authorized Dealer, we offer flexible, budget-friendly financing on top-tier AC units and furnaces, making complete home comfort more accessible than ever.
Some rooms in your home never cool down the way the rest of the house does, whether it's a finished attic, a sunroom, or an addition the original ductwork never reached. A ductless AC system fixes that without tearing into walls, pairing a compact outdoor unit with one or more wall-mounted indoor heads connected by a slim refrigerant line run through a small hole in the exterior wall. You get quiet, room-by-room cooling you can set independently in each space, and with a heat-pump version, heating through the cooler months too.
A ductless mini-split cools your rooms through small wall-mounted units instead of ducts, so it's a strong fit when any of these describe your home.
Your home has no ducts (an older house, or radiator heat), so central air would mean tearing into walls and ceilings.
You want independent control in each room, and a multi-zone ductless system cools each area to its own setting.
You're cooling a whole house with window units and want quieter, tidier comfort in every room.
Ductless systems avoid the energy lost through leaky ducts, which can make them efficient to run across the whole home.
Ductless indoor units run quietly compared with window units, so bedrooms and home offices stay peaceful.
You want every room cooled, room by room, without the cost and mess of adding ductwork to the house.
A whole-home ductless install is planned zone by zone, and here's what to expect when B&Z does it.
We assess each room and plan your zones (separate areas that each get their own indoor unit and temperature control) so coverage matches how you live.
We match the number and size of indoor units to your home so each zone cools properly, without oversizing that wastes money.
You get one upfront price for the whole system before work begins, with no hidden fees, and financing is available on new systems.
We mount the indoor units, connect them to the outdoor unit through a small wall port, then test every zone before we clean up and leave.
A few things move the number more than anything else on a ductless job. The biggest is how many zones you want, since a single-zone setup with one indoor head is a different job than a multi-zone system running three or four heads off one outdoor unit. From there it comes down to the capacity each space needs, which we size from square footage, ceiling height, insulation, and how much sun the room takes; the style of indoor unit you choose, whether that's a standard wall-mounted head, a recessed ceiling cassette, or a floor-mounted model; and how far the outdoor condenser sits from each head, because a longer refrigerant line set means more material and labor. The efficiency tier (the SEER2 rating, which measures how much cooling you get per unit of electricity) plays in too, as does whether you go cooling-only or a heat pump that also warms the space. Finally, the practical side of the install adds up, including the electrical work to run a dedicated circuit and disconnect, how reachable the mounting spots are on things like upper floors or a brick exterior, and any permits your town requires.
