Parents furnace went out around Christmas time. Bob came very quick and replaced the faulty inducer. Upon inspection of the furnace he noticed the heat exchanger was in bad shape on this 20+ year old unit. Bob & his team came back and replaced the whole furnace. Job was done very neatly, affordably & professionally. Would highly recommend B&Z heating to anybody in the south suburbs. 5 stars !

Let me start by saying that I have always been very cautious because almost every company tries to rip people off. Well, let me tell you, B&Z provides honest, fair, and quality services. They are a family-owned and operated company. My furnace was overheating due to the wrong air filter. They came, inspected the unit, and scheduled me for a follow-up cleaning. I will be a regular customer and will be getting my yearly cleaning with B&Z from now on!

B & Z is the best. Bob and his crew responded very quickly and helped me make the right decision on a new furnace and AC unit. Unlike many HVAC providers I’ve worked with, Bob carries and can provide any of the major brands, so he does not push one brand and upsell for more than you need. He did a thorough analysis and test to determine the appropriate size systems and gave me options on good, better, best and associated pros and cons. Most importantly Bob is honest and trustworthy. Quick response, comprehensive evaluation and recommendations, competitive and fair pricing and high quality installation. Highly recommend B & Z!

Getting a premium heating and cooling system shouldn't break the bank. As Orland Park’s trusted Carrier Authorized Dealer, we offer flexible, budget-friendly financing on top-tier AC units and furnaces, making complete home comfort more accessible than ever.
The air inside your home can hold more dust, dander, mold spores, and everyday odors than the air outside, and a whole-home air purifier goes after all of it at the source by treating every bit of air your furnace or air handler moves. Instead of a portable box that only cleans one room, these systems install right into your ductwork, so they work quietly in the background every time your heat or A/C runs. We'll walk you through your options honestly, since UV germicidal lights, deep-pleated media cabinets, and electronic air cleaners each do a different job, and match one to your home and your reason for wanting cleaner air.
An air purifier goes a step past filtering. It works to neutralize germs, mold spores, odors, and fumes as air moves through your HVAC. These are the signs it's worth looking into.
Cooking, pet, or smoke smells linger in the air long after the source is gone.
When one person gets sick, it seems to move quickly to everyone else at home.
You catch a damp, musty odor near the vents, in the basement, or when the system turns on.
VOCs (the fumes given off by paint, cleaners, and new furniture) hang around long after you'd expect them to fade.
The air feels heavy or stuffy even when the house is closed up and the system is running.
You'd feel better knowing something is working on the viruses and bacteria moving through your air.
We look at what you're actually dealing with, then fit the right purification to your system.
A technician checks your ductwork and talks through the odors, moisture, or germ concerns you want handled.
Depending on your situation, we suggest a UV germicidal light or an in-duct purifier. A UV light uses ultraviolet energy to disrupt germs and mold as air passes by, while an in-duct purifier treats the air throughout your system.
You approve one upfront price before anything starts, with no hidden fees. Financing is available on new equipment.
We mount the purifier in your ductwork, wire it into your system, and confirm it powers on and works the way it should.
A few things shape what a whole-home air purifier runs for your home. The biggest is which type you choose, since a UV germicidal lamp that mounts near your coil, a deep-pleated media cabinet, and an electronic air cleaner are built and installed differently. From there it comes down to your equipment and layout, like how much air your system moves, whether your existing filter slot can take a new media cabinet or we need to modify the ductwork to fit one, and whether the unit needs a nearby power source and a wiring run to it. Where your furnace or air handler sits matters too, because a tight closet, attic, or crawlspace takes more labor to work in than an open basement. Homes with more than one furnace need a unit for each system, and how fine you want the filtration factors in as well. We'll lay out which of these apply to your setup before any work starts, so none of it is a surprise.
